Hey guys,

I wanted to check if anybody has an idea if we could take part in a home made business lyk an AMWAY IBO during study permit/co-op work permit.

My own cousin who is a PR these is saying its not illegal , but i think it could have implications during PR application. It doesnt even sound right to me doing any sort of business while on study permit :-X!!!!

lemme knw if u have any idea guys!!

Study permit does not allow you to work full time. So running a business is completely against the rules.

If you have a co-op work permit, you can work, as long as the work is "Required" by your school. Anything outside of that is not allowed. Have you considered an Off- campus work permit. You should check and see if your school qualifies.

Illegal. It's still work. So if CIC finds out, you can expect your study permit to be canceled and to be asked to leave Canada immediately.
