Hello everyone,
I hope someone can guide me!

I am post ITA (Dec 1 2019), and I am getting worried as CIC did not ask for a police certificate from my home country..

I came to Canada at 19 years old on a student visa. For the age between 18-19 I traveled back an forth from the USA to Mexico, in Mexico the longest I stayed for in a row was 4 months, the rest of the time I would spend 2-3 weeks in USA and return to mexico for another 2-3 weeks. When I received ITA I was asked to submit a police certificate from USA, which I uploaded, but I was not asked to submit a police certificate from MEXICO, which is my home country.. Will I need one? Should I raise a web form asking them to send me the letter I need to request the police certificate?? I saw that a police certificate from Mexico can take 30-60 business days?

If you never stayed in Mexico for 6 months or longer in a row since you were 18, the system will not ask you to provide a police certificate. Technically you don't need to get one.
You can submit your application as is. If IRCC wants a police certificate later, they'll contact you.

I submitted my application on Dec 1, I was just worried as Mexico is my home country and I have not received a request.

Thanks for the reply!
