could somebody advise me what was your status when you applied please? I have a Nani who applied in 2019 for this program, got her medical and Police checks requested in Oct 2022. She was on a valid visit visa when she filed her application. It expired afterwards and she did not renew it. Her lawyer advised her that she does not need to renew the visit visa. Now IRCC wants her to prove her current status. Any suggestions.

The lawyer was wrong. IRCC clearly mentioned under HCCP guidelines that the applicants should have a valid status while HCCP/HSWP applications are in process.
No, I did not apply TRV for kid .Just paid the fee at time of application.
Kid is 6.5 yr old now .
I am not sure but maybe TRV is required for kid < 5 yr and Study permit for >5 yr . Please cross check.
Hi, I just want to learn from your experience because i did not apply for my children's trv too. But we already paid their rprf and they are accompanying as per submission of my application.
