Help to Interpret the status message !

Hi All,

My visa status on VFS Site is "Passport dispatched by OC Delhi OC on 06/01/2011 and is in Transit."
What exactly does 'in transit' mean and by when can I expect my stamped passport to reach me.
Please guide.

It depends on how long it takes for the passport to get from ND to the VFS office. Then you either pick it up or they courier it to you.
