I just got a work offer, and i need a new SIN, but my work permit lost in mail. I have already asked CIC to replace one for me, but it still need one or two weeks processing. SIN requires me to provide the original work permit to apply it. I only have the photocopy of the lost work permit.
I have already past the background check and have a start working date scheduled. just wondering if my working date will be delayed until I have a valid SIN?
