HELP!! police clearance certificates ( PCC) confusion

I'm preparing my eAPR documents. About PCC, I'm going back to my home country next week for 3 weeks, then come back to Canada.
Do I have to get PCC after I come back, or
I can get my PCC in my home country while I'm there and upload it to eAPR on the same date. Or it doesn't matter.
I know on the CIC website it indicates the PCC should be issued after the last time I have visited. That's reason why I am confused.

Thanks for your help, but I want to get the PCC for the country I have stayed for more than 6 month, so I was wondering can I get it while I was in there or I have to get it after I back from there in 3 weeks??
