Im planning to study in Canadian College in Vancouver BC. Im currently working in Dubai in a hotel but unfortunately my program i graduated is different from my job experience. Now, there is Certificate of Hospitality Management offered in Canadian College. It's a 1 year program (6months study and 6 month paid internship) where intership is really part of the curriculum.
My question is: Will I be eligibe for Post Graduate Work Permit Program of CIC? Second, since there is paid intership, is there a high chance of getting absorb by the company I will be working on in case I have a good performance. Like others, I want to apply for permanent resident. If after finishing this program after a year, will I be eligible under Canadian Experience Class category.

1. If the institution considers a student to have "full-time" status during the "work experience" portion of the program and the student continues to comply with the institution's co-op rules, the student will be eligible for the PGWP (assuming the college is in the list of participating institutes) and the work experience portion of the program can be included in the calculation of the six-month period of full-time studies.
2. Chances are there that you may get absorb in the company.
3. You can not apply CEC category as the requirements for this category is 2 years of studies in Canada however, you can apply for PR using PNP category.
PNP is provincial nomination program. Every province has its own criteria. You can find the details here:
