Help -only 1 hour between connecting flights on arrival for settlement with PR

I only just realised there is a little over an hour between connecting flights from Calgary to Edmonton. I am flying in from the UK and had expected I would deal with the immigration -with my issued COPR at Edmonton.
Should I cancel my flight to Edmonton and have my wife there drive to Calgary?>
Will I have enough time to go through the immigration process and be able to continue by flight on to Edmonton?

Any help if possible, please!I thought I would deal with immigration upon final destination arrival at Edmonton.

I don't think it is enough time. It would depend on the day, of course. I heard of one person on here who got through in 15 minutes because there was no one else in line, but you can't count on that.

Are you flying with the same airline (single ticket) for all legs of your flight? If so, then go ahead and try to make the connection. They'll put you on the next flight if you don't make your connection in time.

just a thought, I counted 24 flights ( various airlines) from noon to last flight of the night, just using today-Friday for example. Surely you can change your ticket to a slightly later time?
