Help on proof of funds

Hi there,

I’m planning to apply for pr along with my wife and child. So, the required proof of funds to show will be around CAD 20000 (as you know).

I’m thinking of getting a gift deed from my father for around CAD 15000.

Will it create an issue? Since, I’m taking most of the funds as gift?

kindly help and advice on my scenario.
