I took IELTS Academic a fortnight ago and here are my results:
L: 6.5
S: 7.5
W: 6.5
R: 8.5
an overall band of 7.5
Well, I wasn't expecting such a low score on listening section. As far as I remember, I confident I'd made only 3/4 mistakes which means my score must be around 36/37 out of 40 questions. But what went wrong?? Well, I've been taking listening practice tests and took around 15-20 practice tests before that and scored an average of 37 marks out of 40 consistently
The problem is that I'm going to take IELTS general in a couple of days and I need to get 16 points for Immigration out of it. Would anyone suggest what might've went wrong and what prevention must I take this time to get atleast a 7.5 band??
Dear Hasnaat, I took the test on July 10, 2010. I hope I will be able to score good in the GT but the problem is that the listening module is the same for both the GT as well as AT tests; therefore, thinking what went wrong in the AT listening test
