Help - medical test done but not yet receive passport

Hello everyone,

I got a question here, hope you guys can help me out or share your experience.

My mom got her medical test done in Jan 2015, and CIC has received the medical result. CIC also asked us to pay the Fee for Permanent residence and send my mom's police certificate to the CPC- Ottawa office. My mom's application didn't get sent back to the Hong Kong visa office( I guess CIC is changing the process). In the letter, CIC did not ask for my mom's passport. Anyone knows the process after this? Any timeline that you can share? Not sure when they will ask for the passport and when we can get the visa..
