I am just wondering how CIC has changed your name during citizenship application without a legal name change certificate? What did you submit that time?
I didn't submit anything - just ticked the box in section 3B where it says legal name change - i assumed that change can be done with this citizenship application. They just granted the name to me without any supporting document
Now i am trying to apply for it to be changed with the Ministry of Government Services of Ontario (explain my situation) and hopefully i'll be ok ugh
My old name was:
Given name: A
Last name: B
And my name changed to:
Given names: C A
Last name: B
(since name C is my english name and i've been using it for the past eight years in Canada)
