Hey fellows
I got admission in algonquin college for IBM jan intake. Following is my background-
10th - 70%
12th-74%
Bcom- 67%
2 years work experience as administration officer and den promoted to administration manager.
Im applying under spp. Paid one sem fee amd gic of 10,000$. What are my chances plus what documenta to attach to increase the visa chances.

I think you have a fair chance of getting visa. your marks are steady . What is your IELTS score? and attach a strong worded SOP and all kinds of documents showing annual income like rent deed, itr, etc to make the case financially strong. hope it helps.

If I had to quantify your visa getting chance ... I'd put it in the 80%-90% bracket.

Your profile looks good. Under SPP, you needn't show anything else apart from GIC and Tuition fee (it's recommended not to provide extra documents).

Though, it's a good idea to mention all your strong points to prove strong home ties such as property you own, FDs if any and your parents background.

Course selection seems to be good (ensure it's PG diploma as IBMs are UG and PG both). algonquin college doesn't have good reputation among students (this is based what I have heard and read here and there, so do your own research). With your grades, you can actually make it to good colleges. I would in fact suggest that you should apply for Masters (if it's affordable for you).

Also keep in mind, Ottawa or any city in northern Canada has quite harsh weather in winters (that's when you will be landing here, In January) as compared to provinces such as Ontario or Vancouver.
