My company in the US helped me apply a B1 type (visitor - Business) visa about a month ago. But then the plan changed and I no longer need to go Canada for a business trip. But I still have a personal plan to go with my parents to visitor Canada for a two weeks' sightseeing trip. Is it ok that I use my B1 visitor visa to enter Canada and tell the Custom that I am only for a tourist trip?

It totally depends on your nationality, I'm an Iraqi and I have B1 and I can not visit Canada, you can find a list of countries with this privilege at CIC
