:'(
Hey guys - My spouse and I completed the entire packet required for spousal OUTLAND sponsorship for me. She is Canadian, I am American.... currently on a 1 year visitor status extension here in Canada.
Our application package was delivered on the 16th of September..... but we haven't heard a word from CIC regarding receiving the package or processing her sponsor application yet. I called last week, and they have nothing on file.
Of course - Canada Post says they delivered the package.
Should we not be worried? Someone please help calm our fear that our application was lost

CPC-M didn't acknowledge our application until 6 weeks later (inland). And we used Purolator to deliver it...
In the first stages of receiving a filing, they will check it for completeness (to make sure the minimum requirements are present). If it's not complete, they will send it back with a note. That said, if it is complete, they will send you AOR1 (which for us took 6 weeks).
They are pretty slow at this stage... you're not alone

Thank you! The silence has been killing us.....

I was a bit worried (since the lady on the phone told me 33 days max after delivery we should hear something) that something had gone wrong with the outland app.
Anyone currently in the early stages of the Outland process have any helpful advice as well?
