I recently travelled back to India for a week and did not know that I need Work Visa to re-enter Canada. I have a Post Graduate Work Permit and also my Student Visa expires after 2 months. I have post graduate work permit since 1 year. Can I use my Student Visa to re-enter Canada ?

Your post makes no sense given a PGWP post grad work permit is obviously a work permit, there is no such thing as a work visa as such just a work permit. You still need a valid TRV to travel back given neither a PGWP or a study permit are travel documents, they just give a reason for being in Canada.

1. Assuming you still have a valid "sticker" (TRV) in your passport, it doesn't matter if was issued for student/worker, you can return before it expires with your PGWP.

Hi
Did you travel on your student trv ?
Or you are still in india.

He/She means that his got his work permit approved but is not in Canada to get a TRY. I am in a similar position, can I get a TRY from my home country?

Well without a TRV you cannot return to Canada just with a PGWP which is not a travel document so sure you can apply for a TRV from your home country documenting the fact you have an approved PGWP.
In hindsight as everyone is told if studying or on a temporary work permit in Canada always keep your TRV valid given never know when might need to leave the country and once out of course takes time to get a new TRV. Many people have either lost jobs or not been able to resume studies waiting for a TRV to be approved that they could have sorted before they left Canada.
