I need advise please.I applied citizenship in Jan 2018 and received conformation letter on Feb 22.I left Canada on March 5 due to my husband job situation in England.I read on cic I can leave Canada after apply citizenship test however ;since on March 29 my application status indicates it is in process.I applied citizenship through the lawyer.she called immigration twice and was told it s in process too so she said we need to wzit.however I m worry regarding this delay yet all my friends who applied same time with me got their citizenships so should I re enter Canada immediately or is it normal that I have not been called for the test yet.

I am also January applicant, the only think I have noticed is Summer was very slow, but still some application move faster than others I am not sure why, some people said It is depend of the background checking, also depend of the office where your file is being processing but Who knows
Also a January applicant and still waiting. I did get a fingerprint request they received on July 4th and nothing since. My application is being processed in Vancouver. I too was hoping for a quicker turnaround but I guess some of us are not as lucky.
No need for the ALL CAPS title. January is still early to complete the processing. There are a lot of people before January who are still waiting. I'm waiting since October
