you don't see how you came across as rude, insensitive amongst other things. Yes, I'm stressed because I'm sure you can relate to the process. I don't think people are here to get 'reality checks' but more information on how it works.

The same way you interpreted my response as rude and insensitive, I in turn interpreted your initial repeat polling for feedback (amargo having already given you an accurate response) as dismissive and obtuse, to say the least, and gave you honest additional feedback, which YOU again solicited.

Your response would have been great , if you erased "deep breath" and "panic".

You described your state as "extremely confused and annoyed" (your words, not mine) so I don't see how my using of the word panic or suggesting deep breaths isn't relevant.

And about your apology you and I both know that it's your way of patronizing. It's not sincere because you could have said it through private message and not post it here, to make it seem as if it is sincere.

it's interesting that you suggest private messaging, as I've gotten 3 of them from other members since responding to you, and all were actually supportive of what i wrote.

Just a reminder, this visa forum to is help people with questions and support one another as we are all going through or have gone through the process.

Good day everyone......by the grace of God we received an email this morning that my husband has gotten his Visa. Has to report to the embassy next Wednesday for pick up. Our application has been in Havana since August 20 and we just now got the interview waived. Just goes to show you that no 2 applications are alike.

I am speaking for myself when I say, i stay connected to help people not to argue, fight and tell people to calm down. With that being said... I prolly speak for many when i say.... Most of the staff is Cuban. Plus if you put in your application that you communicate in Spanish then they would have to do it in Spanish. Unless you put down that u two communicate in English with eachother then I'm guessing that it may become a problem if they go to do the interview and they find out that that's not true
