How long after the application has been in Havana have they advised that you were waiting for an interview? Is this something that they update on the website or do they just simply inform you when you or your MP request an update?
Oh wow. It took 9 months to inform you that an interview was coming yet none has been scheduled? I'm wondering what the timeline or process has been for others that have already had their spouse get their visas? Do you they inform everyone regardless of the pedning interview even though they may waive it or only for those that actually have it done? For those whose interview has taken place, how long did it take for the interview to be scheduled and how far forward did it actually take place?
Lets hope that the new Immigration Minister John McCallum can improve on the immigration processes we currently have.

Have you contacted Havana since to get an update? From what I see with others, the interview date is typically about a month out from when they notify you.

I was told that we would have an interview by MP's office nearly 4 months ago and by an email in Oct so I think it is just an excuse they are using to put you off for awhile. Better yet the MP 's office called on Tuesday and was told they just started looking at the medical and to call back in Jan which would be more then 12 months. So off to Cuba at the end of Nov and will have my husband go to Havana to see if he can get a reasonable answer as this is getting to be Insane.

Since it's over the 10 month mark you actually may get some info at the embassy, so it's worth going in my opinion. Hopefully you will hear something in the meantime and won't have to though. Good luck enjoy your time in Cuba
So my husband's interview went well she only questioned him about one of his answers. She asked him to speak English as well and shortly after told him he can speak spanish now. My husband is very fluent in English. We were asked to submit tge schedule A form again as well as his divorce cert and a letter from myself stating information about my previous relationship. As well as we submitted more evidence pics phone calls bank statements etc. She told him they would get back to us with their decision after everything was reviewed.
Hi everyone! Well a quick update for me which is nada! Lol told you it would be quick! I hope everyone gets some answers soon. The process is harder and longer than I anticipated but fingers crossed for everyone!
nope mothing....................................no news at all
was told a month and a half ago that there would be an interview and nothing.................apparently there is a waiting list for interviews.
Guess it looks that way We have been waiting for that for a couple of months now. Looks like no visa for Xmas. This will be 3 Xmas's alone for me Makes me think of staying in Cuba for the Holidays. Hard to leave my Family here though. My Mom is 82 and my Step Mom is 95. A sister and her Husband dealing with cancer. Makes my decision difficult. I have emailed Havana but no response yet.
