Yes that's right! But I think that's because of how long it took at the begginging. From Aug 22- December 25th we had to wait for SA! It was super stressful!

I think the realistic time frame is from 3-5 months right now. In total from start to finish it was around seven months. So I think it just balanced out at the end in our case

Thanks for the explanation, my wife file was transfer to VO last week of Feb, my app was received on Nov 19, I'm going to visit my wife in May, maybe I come back with her, lol. Thanks.

I JUST SPOKE TO HUBBBBYYYYYY! He just finished over at the Embassy! He was there since early this morning. They handed over all the papers to the officer and waited for a few hours. And the officer came out and told him to come back at 2 and that's when he got his Visa. I BOOKED HIS FLIGHT FOR SUNDAY NIGHT!!!!! EEEEEKKKKK!!! So excited!!!!

Congradulations New girl your wait is over ! I am basically a similar time line so this gives me hope that Havana will look at that 9 months for us since we started . Our app has been in Havana since Jan 6. I booked a flight for the week of April 17th hoping to be able to bring hubbie home with me we will be married 2 years on Sept 26th It has been a long wait to start our life together inCanada

You will need to do a Google search for the area you live in Que for the MP and the time for Cuba is now 10 months after the app is sent to Havana. By the way as you most likely know Cuba only recognizes Cuban passports not dule citizenship.

well,,I just received(on my wifes email) another AOR i guess this is AOR2 stating that my application for permanent residence was recieved by CIC and under that there is the address of the Canadian VO in Havana so,I guess my file went there.

yes, if you take a look at the bottom of the letter you will see that it was sent from the havana office. I never got the second AOR ...they only emailed it to my husband

thank you,yes its at the bottom of the page the vo in havana..it was sent to my wife and i guess it was because she is my Representative too...

its gonna be crazy if i have to go to cuba to get my passport stamped(when i dont need to) or evne crazier if they pretend to interview me...
i already contacted the MP lets see how it goes,,,congrats btw

one question though,,in the email it says ''cic received your application for permanent residence in Canada'' on 2014/11/18 do they mean they received it(havana vo)? or they received it today?(which is when we got the aor2 form havana vo?
