Hello everyone!! Hubby is amazing.. already working and adapting fine to the winter weather! I just wanted to send a quick note.

I noticed that HAVANA is now 10 months! Don't stress... usually NEVER - will it take that long in Havana... By the 4th or 5th month you will hear something!!

Keep your spirits high.


Also... I wanted to mention, I know how hard this is for all of you! Having gone through it myself, I promise that once it is over and your life begins here with your loved one - it will be all a distant memory...

Heyyyyyy guyzzzzzzz...sorry iv Been M.I.A for a while..... Here is my update. I FINALLY received AOR email on December 25th confirming that mississauga received our application August 22 2014 hahaha which is laughable but what can ya do?! Then december 29th another email with SA and saying our application is being sent to Havana. Nothing after that but my MP emailed me confirming that the application reached Havana Jan 6th.....sooooo now that things are on their way i can FINALLY stop holding my breath and just wait.... Congrats to those who have received an answer and good luck!

Usually no more than 1 day.. And if you are asking them anything about the processing time of your application they will just tell you to wait until your husband has been contacted unless it is over the 10 months which is how long it takes to proccess the applications now according to cic website.. But it looks like it takes around 5 months since the day Havana receives the case

I don't think/hoping it doesn't mean interview list because according to the notes there are no concerns of our case and it states recommended pass... Crossing fingers and hoping it's good news!
I'll keep everyone updated on what happens

UPDATE: My husband got the call today for his interview on March 26. It's so far away, but at least we got the call, and things are moving. I wish I could go with him, but the timing won't work. So excited!!

Hi, I'm new in this forum, today I checked Immigration web site to see the status of my wife sponsorship and the update say that a decision has been made and a letter has been sent to me on Feb 20th. Our application was received on Nov 19th. 2014 Is that good news? I expected an e-mail, but I might be wrong.
