Just got back from Cuba We made our appt in Havana in March by going to the National Hospital in Boyaras and was given and appt April 25 abnd 26th The cost was 410 cuc and is the same for the children. He took 8 pictures according to the size on the web site and the information was sent through the internet It takes 90 days the panel Dr said. In March they told him the cost and the required info and the number of pictures.

Wow! $410 for adults and children for their medicals? It was $405 for hubby in January/February 2014 and $200 for each child. Hubby was told 45 days but it was 90 I think because we still have not heard anything from the Embassy to date since, only confirmations they have all that they have requested. I wonder how much longer it will be. :'( Hopefully the visa call is just around the corner. :-X :-\ ??? :'( ??? It is terrible to wait soooo long after a won ADR appeal from Nov 2013 :'(

Does anyone know the cost of a police record check in Cuba these days? My husbands is over 3 months old. I am hearing $65 and it will take 3 months. Can anyone confirm that please ?

My husband had his done in Matanzas. I think it was around $60cuc. It took about 2 months to get it.

Thanks for the replies on the medical. It took about a month for my husband to get the appointment. It was $805 total - $405 for him and $200 for each child. He had to be there 2 days because with the kids they need an extra day with the child physician.

Just putting the spousal application together and wondering where I put my husband's daughters information as she is 25 years old is in a common law relationship and has a baby born April 9th 2014. I want to make sure all 3 are on the application. I would like to get this sent off on monday if at all possible.

From what I understand, she's not a dependant if she is 25. Plus she is in a common-law relationship:

'Dependent children Refers to the children of the applicant or those of the spouse or common-law partner.
They must:
•be under the age of 22 and not have a spouse or common-law partner, or
•depend substantially on the financial support of a parent and have been continuously enrolled and in attendance as full-time students in a post-secondary institution accredited by the relevant government authority since before the age of 22 (or since marrying or entering into a common-law relationship, if this happened before the age of 22), or
•depend substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22 and be unable to provide for themselves due to a medical condition. '

I would not include her as dependant on the application however she should be listed on the additional family information form IMM 5406 as that includes all children over the age of 18.

I'm sponsoring my kid who currently lives in Cuba. Could anyone tell me how long it's taking after the application is approved by CIC and documents are sent to havana office?
Is it mandatory to send the IMM 1017 (medical exam) along with the application???

I'd really appreciate your help.

It takes 55 days for sponsor approval and then 9 months for complete application If the medical is not done and sent with application it will take longer.

Do I pay for my spouses daughter who is 25 and not coming with him. She has filled out form IMM5406 along with the baby and common law partner.
