He took the papers in October 15th.....the said 3 weeks should be ready but come and check by Oct 31/12.....we were just happy they gave us a time date...most of the time it is just come back and check...so really just 2.5 weeks for them to do it!!!! I wonder if it is because they are changing the system???

I have good news too. I start the Orientation in the January group, on the 14th and I'm allowed to have a week off for the interview and to fly back with him. I don't want to spend the money to fly back with him, but since we have his daughter, I thought I should. Is alot for him to take in, having his own culture shock and hers, you think?

So, if I have to be in the office Monday the 14th, how many days before would you fly home? I would ideally like to come back the day before, but what if it storms?

Kinda hoped they put me in the March one, but given my financial situation this is a blessing in disguise. My rate of pay is the best I've had, full benefits, I use my car so my car payments will be a tax cut, and gas exspenses, and a home office tax cut. I really can't turn it down. My time in Cuba will be short now, but life will be secure when we are a family living here. I'll get a trip in before interview for imm to see, and then the trip there for the interview. I think it's meant to be......
