Hi how long does it take when the file leave Canada to reach Havana?
And how long after they receive it they will call for a medical?

For me it took 60 days for the file to get to Havana after they send it from Canada. But maybe because the holidays it took longer. Still waiting for the medical request.

My spouse recieved phone call from embassy! Asking if medical check was done and saying that they will review the police check and ask for new one if necessary

You get a generic letter inviting you to pre-arrival services in Canada (language, finding a job, etc.).

At what stage of the sponsorship are you two? Police check she'll have to go to consultoria juridica I'm sure, and the papers need to get certified by MINREX or the embassy won't accept them.
My wife just got called from the embassy asking for a new police record since the one we sent was "expired", tho the one we sent with the application was just the national one(for use in national territory only). Our process has taken just over a year since the time I sent the papers in because doing it on my own I made a mistake of sending the Schedule-A Background Declaration form without an actual hand signature of her. Let me know if you need any help.

Hey guys,
I got my AOR #1, and need to submit my Schedule A + Police Check. I have them both in PDFs. Unfortunately I submitted the Schedule A on it's own, and now have no option to upload the Police Check. Then I researched this, and realized you're supposed to combine both docs into one PDF? Is this right?
What do I do now? Contact CIC?
Thought you guys could help before I go on hold with them forever...

Did the national police check work with CIC?
Also, why did you need a hand signature on the Schedule A? I thought that if you submit it through your online account, no signature (hand-written) is needed.
