It was exactly 7 months!
Immigration received our app March 25th, Havana got it May 24th, medical exam on July 7th, medical exam passed sometime in early September but I can't remember the day. Got a request for a new police certificate, submit it on October 13th, email from Havana on the 18th saying to come get his visa on the 25th!

I can't believe how quick!!! I sent mine in January. Havana received March 13. Haven't heard anything since. We at 9 months all together. I sent in whole package with criminal record and medical. I wish mine went that fast. Congrats!!!

Is there anyone dealing with the Havana VO that has been waiting longer than a couple of weeks after AOR2 for their medical request? We've submitted both PCC and Shed A and waiting on the med req now.

We received our email today!! My husband goes for the interview on November 20. Which will be exactly 10 months from date Canada first received paperwork. They sure give a list of stuff my husband has to bring with him.

Hi everyone!

My husband is a Cuban Canadian PR and we are interested in bringing his parents to visit because we have a baby and would like them to come. It would only be for a few months as they have no interest in being here for the winter, but I don’t know anything about visitor visas. I know a little from their website but if anyone has ever done this, I’d like to ask a few questions. Thank you so much!

Edit: I know the majority of visitor visas are rejected so I want to hear peoples experience with it.

I checked eCAS.. now my spouse has this message (appeared today) (name redacted):

1. We sent [Spouse] correspondence on August 11, 2017. If [Spouse] has not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please have [Spouse] do so as soon as possible. Please wait until [Spouse] receives the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

I'm guessing this is the police check request that we got on the 10th of August?

Did they not provide what information your spouse needs to send in? Did he receive an email from them or just You?
