Well....finally got an email from Havana.....all it said was it was inside the processing times as set out on the CIC website.......fyi.....that is 10 months......and they will not respond to my email.......but seeing as they sent me an email back do you think that means they have my file......all I asked was confirmation that they have the file... :'( :'(

Well that's a slap in the face! I would assume if they didn't have your file, they would say something like we have no record of you.. I still think even if they don't actually answer your question, e-mailing it always good once in a while. It makes someone actually look at the file.

yes that is what I am assuming TSB......and believe it or not I got the same email about 50 minutes later again....so once across the right cheek and then back across the left
I don't think so mc1234.....I believe it is deemed that they do have the file because CIC said they sent it to them. You would think in this day and age of technology and simple one line email....we have your file....do not call or communicate with us until such and such a date as passed.....grrr....I am over being sad and moving on to angry.....LOL.....too much emotion for a Monday :-[
The thing is.. they don't tell you that CIC tracks it, and we can't track it, so you sit there and worry that they don't have it. They probably do track it, and make sure it is received. CIC in Canada should be able to tell you that the package was at least received, but I don't think they do? Has anyone ever tried to ask the call centre to confirm the app was transferred??

basically they tell you once you have been approved it is all up to the VO.....they won't help you nada....unless the VO confirms they don't have it.....so back to waiting..and waiting.....and waiting.....

yeah...well I figure I will email once a month just a nice polite please confirm you have my file......and sooner or later I might get a personable response.....can't hurt......and at least they know I am a concerned wife!!!
