Mrs. Hubby!
My heart goes out to you... I thought that this process was hard until we lost abuelita, it has not even been a month and i still feel helpless.
not having been there for my husband was the worst feeling i have ever felt the heart break I felt for his family and not having been able to say good by or spent more time with her.
You want to hold them and make everything better and you cannot.
The dynamics of our marriages are complicated and straining on the heart but god will bless as all as he as begun to bless some already. Our time is next.
Que dios bendiga tu familia en este momento más dificil.
xoxo
dory
thank you so much for your kind words and understanding.

Hi Sorry for your bad news, if very difficult to be so far away from the people that you love, especially when you feel they need you or you need them!! My heart goes out to you and your husband and his family too. I want to say that the ECAS status changed, to interview Dec 9th, we are very excited and nervous at the same time. The gentleman that called him from the Embassy was extremely nice and gave him very encouraging words.
So happy to hear that he received encouraging words... it is a stressful time, and that encouragement means a lot. I know my husband is so nervous for the interview. We are hoping that it gets waived.
P.S. thank you for your kind words and understanding. Not many people can understand how really far away we are from our loved one without the internet/skype/etc.
Hola
Sorry to hear about your husband's father. I can so identify with the issue of not being with your husband. I sent my application in July 11th and have had 2 requests for new documents the last one being Oct 8th. I have called several times and no updates. I have not even gotten a SA yet. I wanted this Xmas and New Year's with my husband but that will not be the case. This is a very long process

Hola
Well I called CIC this morning for the umpteenth time and the agent said my application is now complete and I should have SA by the middle of Dec. That will be 5 months since I sent it in and then another 9 months once it gets sent to Havana Guess that is a little good news for me. LOL

That is awesome News Galano!!! TRUST ME... once you get your SA the file will be transfered to Havana within the week... Providing everything goes smooth there you wont have to wait the full 9 MONTHS I promise.
They move quickly... have faith, as much as it is hard to find the light at the end of the tunnle we will all get there sooner or later!!!!!!!
God Bless You!!!!
Sorry about your father in law Mrs Hubby. Stay strong the battle is nearly over!
Everyone else on this thread stay positive
There is definitely light at the end of the tunnel.
well I just got off the phone from my MP's office and they called CIC and was told they were processing my spousal application as an inland not outland as it is and will take 10 days to get it processed as outland It is now 5 months and not even a SA This is absolutely ridiculous and someone is incompetent

Just crazy! I don't even understand how they can screw it up so badly! The inland applications and outland applications don't even go to the same address!!
At least now it's only 10 days away, that is great news.

hola
Yes I should have called my MP earlier at least they got some positive information and told me to call back by Friday next week and they would call again to make sure it was sent to outland. I am off to Cuba on Sunday for a week.
