My PR application was approved before March 18th. I am planning to do a soft landing in Windsor and come back the same day to US. I have a valid H1B Visa stamp.
I just wanted to know if there is anyone who has recently done soft landing. If so what was their experience.

No if you are going to Canada be prepared to stay minimum 15 days ... You can't skip 14 days quarantine period especially if you are activating PR. Same day return will fall under non-essential travel. All people who have done soft landing from US recently fulfilled their quarantine obligation.
1. Relying on a subparagraph in an order like this is risky.
2. Relying on a border officer's discretion to accept you at your word that you will leave before the quarantine period is expired, and will continue to quarantine until then, is risky.
3. Relying on a border officer's discretion to accept you that you will leave soon, will quarantine until then, AND ask them to allow you to interact with IRCC and CBSA officers, while in quarantine, to process a landing procedure, WHILE allowing you to leave immediately thereafter, is risky.
4. Given recent experiences with Americans lying at the border about "driving to Alaska" and thus attempting to circumvent the quarantine, I wouldn't recommend this.
