H1b to Canada open work permit

Hello Everyone, I'm currently in US on h1b and got my Canada open work permit. Got a contract job offer with in Canada. Is it a good move to leave US in current situation (2024) and coming to canada to get PR and citizenship. If yes, What are the best ways to get a PR in Canada. If i leave US what happens to my H1b.

No one can tell you if it is a good move. PR in Canada is based on Express Entry or a PNP program (province where you live). Do some research on the IRCC site to see if eligible for programs based on age, educaiton, funds, skills and languages. Ask about US visa on US forum.

You’re asking the internet should you uproot your life in one country to move to another?
- We don’t know . Secondly even mentioning getting PR , citizenship is ridiculous, since many here now don’t even qualify to get PR
- As for your H1B ask the USCIS
