I need to extend my H1 and I am planning to do it in Canada. Questions for who’ve already gone through this. Currently stay in the US and have a physical Canadian PR. Don’t have a Canadian ID
1. What did you guys keep as place of Permanent residence? US/ Canada or India?
- the call center lady asked to change it to Canada since I have PR.
2. Are you travelling from another country? Yes or no? I called the call center twice.
- one lady said you need to keep it as no because you have Canadian Pr and another lady said to keep it yes because I am travelling from the US.
3. When picking up the passport, if we should US license is that fine? If it matches with what we uploaded while registrating or does it have to be a Canadian ID?

I dropped my application in Vancouver dropbox. However my application went from Approved to Application received. I cannot even see my spouse application on CEAC. Has anyone been in a similar situation?
