Paid for expedited delivery. Since these Purolator guys were lazy to take the elevator had to go to their location with my door tag to pick up my passport.

1. deliver to personal/ business: $23CAD
2. Pick ip at a courier store location : $19 CAD?

and is it guaranteed one day delivery? from your case it looks like you received it on next day

Yes, it gets delivered overnight ( I chose option 1). My wife chose pickup at a store near her office a min away and she picked it up around 11 am the next day as well.

No email today as day 1 after status change. My lease is ending on 30th. My concern here is Should I try to stay here for another month or just get Airbnb for a week or two in case my process spills over in next month?

I'm now thoroughly confused. I called the Canada NIV helpline number on their website.

And I was told explicitly that I must answer "NO" to the question :

Are you traveling from another country to apply for a U.S. visa in Canada?

They said that as long as you have a PR card you should answer no to this :|

1. Curious what did you end up selecting "yes" or "no" for that question -> Are you traveling from another country to apply for a U.S. visa in Canada?
2. Did you go for dropbox option or an interview?
3. Either case - what happened? Did you get your H1b Visa stamped successfully?

Just got an update in DS 160 status. It has changed to “Administrative Processing “ today. My last update was “Refused” on Nov 15th. Does anyone know what’s happening now?

Just got to hold on. Now they'll make an actual decision in your application. Since it's a Friday I would say to be patient till next week so you'll see a change in status.

I have not proceeded with my application ... just checking for an in person appointment ..if I don't find one by end of this month I'll go ahead and go for dropbix
