Ambitious07, my 2 cents... wait for the documents.. send it fully furnished... Atleast it will give you a clear sense of hope... after all for us as immigrants.. hope is the only USP that keeps us in the race..

Hi I would suggest to send the application with the required docs. Home PCC and all country PCC's where you have lived for more than 6 months since the age of 18 are REQUIRED for the application to be complete. State PCC's are NOT Required unless they ask for it later. My recommendation will be to send application with all REQUIRED PCC's to avoid delay.
Why do you want to send the application without home PCC? are your other PCC's expiring? or the nomination is expiring?
Even if you send the application without home PCC, make sure you write a cover letter clearly explaining why you didn't include it. Otherwise they might send your application back.

Hello folks,
I have a question since i might be moving before receiving the AOR and I have law firm representing me.
Usually, who receives the AOR mail from CIC is it the represnting Law firm (if one appointed) or the applicant?

[Dude, Should not you be asking this question to your law firm? Who can answer better about your immigration queries? Your law firm or the random people from this thread?]
HI Seniors,
My wife is in India, recently married, i want to include her in CIC Package, so do i need to get her PCC from India...
Please help
Yes. If she is in India the PCC can come from either the consulate or any senior police official like SP, SSP etc. Check the link below:

Hi folks,
I submitted the request for MA PCC 3 weeks ago and they said, they sent me report almost 2 weeks ago. however I didn't get my report by mail and I also didn't get home country PCC. What I have to do now ? My nomination will expire in next 2 weeks.
Please advise me thank you
Apply to CIC ASAP
then apply for PCC's
when u receive those send to CIC
Ambitious07,
In my opinion, all that ChaloCanada indicates is fine except sending it. Don't send it until you get AOR or CIC asks for it.
BTW why did you wait so long to get these and find yourself scrambling two weeks from expiry of the nomination?
Best of luck!

Have a silly question: I'm a Alberta PN.
but what's the FBI results/report?never heard of it in my required document.
I guess PCC is the police certificate, but what`s the state PCC. we should only provide PCC outside of Canada, and no need to provide PCC for in Canada, right?
what`s the I-94, or AOR?? are these for PN for other province?but bafflo should have the same standard. did I miss somthing?
we will only pay 510 USD for the application right? when should we pay for the 490 right of PR?
website says if you reside in canada, you can mail the application to a city(can`t remember the city name) in Ontario instead of Bafflo, is that rightÉ
Alberta has a separate PN program for people who are working in the US on a H1B visa. So as part of the due diligence for us who are in US on a temporary work visa wanting to immigrate to Canada, CIC requires FBI clearance. Apparently you are not on H1B visa or in the US as you are unaware of I-94 (A US port of entry document). So don't get confused by trying to follow this thread.

HI,
Thanks for reply yea I think I have to send my application to CIC and later if they will ask then I 'll send them PCC.
Can I send my application to CIC by regular mail or by FedEx ? Do I need to send any self address envelop with this application ? I am also sending $1300 US.
Applicant = 510
Spouse = 510
1 Son = 140
2 Son = 140
--------------
1300
Seniors please share your opinion
Thanks
Guys,
I got my CIC package back earlier because of the error on my side and I resent it and they received it on 5Th April. Its been 4 weeks now and my check is not cleared yet. This is driving me crazy!!!
I don't think it has taken this long for anyone.
Re: H1-Alberta PNP-nominations NOV'09 and later+PCC, FBI,CIC application discuss
Yea havent seen it take that long for MO cashing. Its taking about 25 days. But if you didnt get it back then u should be good because they usually take less than 4 weeks to send the package back.
