No you do not need lawyer to apply GCMS but some lawyers get upset when you contact IRCC in any shape or form without letting them now. Our most recent lawyer - a top lawyer in Toronto based on reviews - was giving us really hard time - no right to call, no right to submit web forms, extremeley upset at GCMS notes etc. One of the reasons we cancelled her after she lost the case. Then we wrote our own HC and the file got approved.

You can send them email with your reference number - both should be in the confirmation email when you requested notes. We sent them email with a status enquiry and they replied with GCMS notes attached.

Good afternoon everyone, I check my application status and it has changed from in process to decision made, for my AIP in August , please is this normal and will it change to complete afterwards? Just curious, please I need a response if you have pass through this stage.

if you donr medical and police clearance youll get COPR soon

Don’t stress you will receive your COPR. Decision made after AIP means that the applicant Will get his permanent recidency.
Can you share please your timeline ?

No file number is HC application number - you can find on your acknowledgment of receipt

Then got decision made this Saturday. Waiting patiently for the mail..

Yes, done all that and police check too. So I’m waiting for the PR approval.
