I am guessing background checks - criminality and security. Have you already submitted Police certificates?

ecas does not exist for my partner because he was already PR before 2015. So I guess they could not create a new account under same name/UCI.
Do you know how long this stage can last now? Can he be stuck for months at this final review? He has funerals back home and is very impatient to travel...

From 1 month up to 12 months all the way you get Pr card

You are situation is different so I’m hoping you might be get your copr this week or next month for sure

usually takes between 2 weeks up to 8 weeks to show in ecas If they need more tests they might be sent you email
Just be patient

And you’re good just be patient because of the backlog it’s kind of delay the copr

Same here - my partner submitted police certificate end of May and he already passed background checks. So you probably already passed too. If you are anxious, you can also call IRCC. Some agents are chatty and are nice enough to tell you "criminality/security passed".You are almost there.

WOW! 12 months sounds scary. My partner will pass from stress and anxiety. I hope they do it soon...

Not up to 2years, I applied May 2020, I submitted all those form including right of permanent resident for my self alone, when I got AIP then I submitted same form IMM5406 and IMM5669 for my spouse this month of June, but they are still asking for the same forms from me and my spouse, I am confused.

my partner got the same letter with AIP requesting forms but it started at the beginning "if it has been more than two years since you applied".Can you check the beginning of the letter? They just send out a standard letter of instructions but they do not check when did you apply. It's up to us to calculate.
