Ayanna I have a question for you is, I was out of status i never file tax before but my husband file his tax for me and him even tho I wasn't working. I spoke to a lady concerning the child benefit she told me I have to file independently first, even though I wasn't working. if i file independently I would have an account there after I file??

Hi, what is your timeline? You should get AOR (acknowledgement of receipt).
Usually 2020 applications get invited for biometrics at some point, if you did not already do biometrics before.

Mine has been in process in January. 6 weeks now. My question is how do you find out the location of your file.

I called them when it went into process. I wouldn't recommend to call. You can order GCMS notes for the update on the file. It
is pretty easy and costs $5.
