Child benefits are not considered social assistance.
I asked so many times before applying for my kids because I know we're not allowed to get welfare which is social assistance.

Yes! Once you get to medicals,your application have begun processing.So the way that it works is that,once the medical has been conducted,the medical examiner will then send it directly to IRCC.In the event the medical goes well,approval will be granted.After this medical,she’s not required to report any medical tests unless she just wants to send updates to help her case.I hope this helps
