I think you should wait until you get the proper. I have two Canadian born son also one his almost 5 the other his 1, I never collect any money for either one of them.

As long as your first stage is approved, you can apply for child benefit. It doesnt matter if u wait for the proper. Child benefit is not welfare, it belongs to the children

How do you apply without a sim number because I don't have any? And how to go about looking about the Child benefits, can you please share how to go about it please and thanks

I do have sin and I’m PRRA applicant
They refused me i
Don’t Know why in letter Says we need verification of Stutas
even though my PRRA in process and I have open work permit up to 2020

Because you still have the ‘9’ series Sin and you don’t have AIP.I’d suggest you wait until you land before applying for child tax benefits.You will be able to get all the payments you haven’t claimed in the past.

I think we don't get CCB with AIP, at https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-ag.../publications/t4114/canada-child-benefit.html
and in forms there is no way mention of such AIP thing, only Citizen, PR or Temp resident etc

Can you provide link or reference? Maybe I am not aware of such thing. Thanks

You can get it because I have spoken to someone there and she told me what to do to get a temporary sim card , if service Canada don't give you the sim card they can give it to you. She even send the form to me to fill out to get the sim, and even the form them to fill out to apply for CCB but I choose to wait until I got the pr.
