My h and c application has been in process for 28 months no aip.they started processing it one month after I submitted my application but no aip till now

You mean almost 27 months since they process it and till now no AIP is that what you mean ?

I think AIP will come around week or months only

No AIP is typically around 2 years or more these days.

In my understanding, it takes about 2 years to become IN PROCESS on ecas and probably a few months from that moment to the AIP (if approved). However, each case is so different and there are no rules as I can see from people's responses in this thread. It seems quite unusual to become IN PROCESS one month after the submission and then no news for more than 2 years. However, the end result is the same: waiting time till AIP is 2+ years.

Its very rare to a month to in moved to IN PROCESS those applications are for vulnerable people. Its actually true that theres a case that move to IN PROCESS in almost month because of the situation of the applicant.

But if no any action for 27 months after moving to IN PROCESS, how does it help that vulnerable person?

H&C is a last resort option. It is not an easy process and approval is low.

I received a phone call from a Senior Immigration Officer today.

Congrats man it’s good news
That happened to us after call a month later we got Aip

No! his application went in process back in June which was 9 months after his application was received.Then two months later,he got a call from IRCC.He will be getting AIP soon.We love to see this

My application was received on first week of July 2020 and then last week of July 2020 says in Ecas IN PROCESS and today I received a phone call from a Immigration Officer

So altogether your application is about one month old? Looks like fast track ...
