I am a single mother, I came to Canada in 2020, with my three kids, I filed a case refugee my application was rejected, then I appealed, then my appeal was also rejected, then I applied for the H&C humanitarian and compassionnate in January 2023, no response yet, in June 2023 I applied for a PRRA, Pre-Risk Removal Assistant, recently, it was rejected, now I am applying for a PRRA appeal. It’s been 5 years, I don’t know what to do I am so upset H&C decision when it will come.

Im so sorry. I really pray they give you the hnc result back soon! I have 3 Canadian kids as well . The decision was dated on January! They have very bad communication between agencies I don’t know why!? I also know that they consider the hnc with minimum 5 years of residence in Canada. Also guys the hnc was decided long ago I don’t know when. My lawyer said it happens sometimes. It seems the CBSA agents aren’t taking hnc applications together with prra often anymore! Also to let you know guys two of my kids have health issues, I sent proof of how my daughters life could be in danger without her medication! Also to let you know they accepted my deferral and now both applications, I got very involved with my applications not like with the refugee claim. Can someone tell me what’s next?

If your H&C claim has final approval you should get eCOPR. You may be in a queue which is why you have not heard anything. When was the final decision made for the H&C?

It was made back in January but I received the result today. The PRRA Was filled on November 2024. What’s the next step does anyone knows? Stage 2?

I applied for PRRA in November 2024, and my lawyer said I could use either of them but if I use the PRRA I can’t travel back to my home country. I will use whatever is faster. Tbh I never want to go back it’s so danguerous! The lawyer told me HNC has faster processing! God knows best

Does your H&C say AIP or final approval? Did CBSA not indicate whether you’d be processed for PR under H&C or the PPRA? I just assumed it would be H&C.
