Hello @ syclla. I have a question. Immigration asked me to do the biometrics for my latest application. Do i have to do it again because i did biometrics last 2021 in which my application was refused.
Yes I received AIP through reconsideration on 10th January, I have submitted documents by 12 th January to Niagara Falls office, yet I didn’t receive any reply. If any one advice me how long it will take.
I am planning to apply for my parents PR under H&C grounds. I had a few questions that I was seeking answer to.
I am a single dad with young kids (one in KG). My wife passed away about 4 years back and my parents have been staying with since helping raise the kids. They are currently on Supervisa status.
1. Can I apply to change their residency to permanent on the above grounds even though they have Supervisa status.
2. Also, does a rejection of their H&C application lead to cancellation of their Supervisa.
Yes, me too in Quebec and I am in the same situation. May I ask you did you know or you asked your lawyer if AIP (syage 1) will be processed by canada and then stage2 will be processed by Quebec
Both 1st and 2nd stages are processed by federal.
After AIP, federal will advise Quebec to process your CSQ. Wait time for CSQ is now long. Also you will need to send in your 2nd stage documents to federal and take medicals in required within 7 days of receiving AIP. Staying or moving from one province to another does not affect your PR application. Be sure to advise IRCC of your new address. Good luck to everyone.
Hi @Taweda!
I am still waiting for CSQ forms as well. We are also waiting for medical forms. In our case, these didn't come with the AIP.
I called MIFI last week but didn't get an answer about it. I believe the person who took my call doesn't know anything about IRCC sending them a CSQ request.
