Hello guys, so today I was at CBSA office again, at first my case officer said my next step is to begin my removal procedure because my daughter Canadian passport was ready, she then said because I have a Canadian born child an officer will have to escort us from Canada to Amsterdam, before I get to my final destination, immediately she said that I was so cold and started crying, when she saw my mode she then said I should give her some minute, she requested for my ICU number she let for some minutes and came back, then told me my removal is on hold I can stay because I have my H&C application on going, I was so happy, I was just tearing up uncontrollably,please is this a sign of positive H&C decision??? Btw my H&C application is 12months now.. and I have been reporting at CBSA now for 14 months.

You have found favor with the CBSA officer and for this we have to be thankful! Not to worry you but our removal was placed on hold by CBSA and IRCC still refused our application after 14 months but hey every case is different maybe the CBSA officer contacted IRCC and they told them that your application is close to approval (anything is possible). Just keep updating your application, pray and stay positive God showed you favor and I believe your application will be approved in Jesus name. Also if the officer gave you anything in writing that your removal is on hold you can send that to IRCC we did that when we applied for reconsideration (we are now permanent residents) all the best.

process time of H&c used to take between 24 to 36 months however the processing time was updated and now it is 19 months.
I think this time it will take 6 months to get AIP.

So true @tony4454 processing time for H&C was 16 months and our application took 23 months so you are right it's different for everyone.
