anyone with reconsideration experience, could you please let me know how long it takes officer to decide if he accepts case for reconsideration or not? Is it weeks? months? Years?

I sent new application as reconsideration for the first stupid decision

It depends on your file. Each lawyer has its own prices, but it will be more than 3000$+the application fees

Certainly yes! Except for days that are public holidays. If you look at it technically, there is also certainty that a bunch will go on holiday/vacation and 26th, 27th & 2nd would be a holiday. I won't expect too much within those period.

Only 26 and 27 are holidays, however 23rd and 30th are typically half days only (Christmas and NY eves). As many schools are already closed, many people are already off as they have to match their kids' schedules. Much of government is entering holiday hibernation for a few weeks. Brace for some silence on the way.

So, until yesterday when I was calling to IRCC to check my medical exam status and the message was : we requested a medical exam…
( I did the medical exam on December 9 and the doctor sent the results to IRCC already)
Today when I called again, that message disappeared , what that means ?
