Am here with my family , It was based on best interest of child. I wish everyone waiting , peace cos it wasn’t easy it’s so exhausting but it always ends in praise . before i got my AIP i got rejected but my lawyer filed in for reconsideration which was approved after 2 months
Yes they are not aligned. Even GCMS notes status is not accurate - it showed in process for us for almost a year after refusal letter has been printed. The only sure way to know your file is in process is to actually receive a letter or call from agent requesting info. Everything else is estimation.
On a positive note, nowadays files go in process much faster upon receipt than years back, when files were collecting dust for 1-2 years before someone even touches them.
I am in my second application and now I cant get in either. No AOR, no news and it has been 2 months.
When I did my second application it took long for me to get access to Check online. So give it sometime
I hope we get some AIP this week. Went for second cbsa interview today. Told to apply for my child passport and bring proof at next interview.
