@Katayoon , hi. I remember your reply to my post in June,21 about process of Stage 1 and 2. Automated message says ; we r processing your background check, need no medical n biometrics n interview etc. Is it on the right course as it is 11th month

Yes 11 month is still within normal processing times but bear in mind that automatic status line is not always up to date. GCMS notes is the only reliable status tool. It only costs 5$ and will give you peace of mind.

Yes but you don’t need worry. It’s normal processing for it. As long as you see that it is received it’s ok. My first application it took 3months to get it

Yes and that’s normal it can take up to 3months. It’s ntn to worry about. That’s normal time frame. It takes time to get it.

Sorry I just saw that it states that my secondary office is Operational Support Centre. Who knows where is this?

I have not received any information that it was received apart from tracking number by the courier

you can check status without receipt on online without acknowledgment you need your uci no and d.o.b ..
AOR some time receiving more than 3 month… don’t worry, everything is normal

my cousin got same email but a week later is ecas change decision made then couple email copr he is waiting on pr card now

you should get an email soon too
Just be patient you already done the hard part

The biggest portion of background checks will be done at Stage 2 after AIP when you will get requests for updated police certificates and background forms. Our automatic status was "we are verifying your background" the day our processing started, but you cannot know for sure until you order GCMS notes and check the line "Background checks" on Page 2.

I have a question, so....if I changed to "process" on March that means I have to wait 15 months more till the end of stage 2? I got aor on October 2020, but just last month my status changed on Ecas
