Hi all i feel so motivated after reading some member fight for their case after refusal., I know some member here are very brave fighter never give up after many refusal . I know we all here support each other I'm very thankful to senior member also people who are helping each other , I like everyone fighting spirit, I like what ayanna said always prefer for worst because sometime we feel our case is so strong we will be approved but suddenly we get shocked, I know not everyone in life get what they want, i just want to wish everyone to get succeed because this H&C is not easy because some officers are looking for single mistake to hunt you for them its just a case they don't feel what other people feel after this refusal waiting for too long.

I got my fighting spirit from Katayoon and tony, I would like to ask everyone , my lawyer said she need to apply for reconsideration first also for judicial review then if its refused she will apply for second h&C of course for second h&C I'm gonna sell my bike to apply for it,. now i have these question if someone help me understand.

1: how long reconsideration will take? what does it mean suppose if officer reconsider my application does it mean he gonna open my case again?
2: do officer is obliged by law to reconsider my case or he can refuse to consider that?
3: what happen if my reconsideration accepted? my lawyer asking for more prove and latter from friends that I'm established here and family friends here.
4:how long judicial review will take? will i get work permit from judicial review ?
5: should i apply for second h&C very soon? or wait for answer from reconsideration?
thanks please experience member help me with that,

I will tell you alittle about me. I applied H&C July 2020. Was rejected July 2021. I submitted JR still waiting on that. And I also submit new application which is considered reconsideration. I applied September 6, got AOR October and in process since Feb 4. So I would say JR takes up to 1 year and half. Mostly 1 year. It place hold on my Deportation. So my fingers are crossed. And I hope you keep pushing. Another thing I submitted my second H&C on my own. No lawyer just help from person this forum….

my lawyer is asking for reconsideration from officer not submitting second application i guess second application is new application?

why judicial review taking that long? can you please tell me? also if lawyer ask the officer to reconsider is decision ?
 
your second h&c went to process fast i hope this time you will get approval, I know its hard. should ask for fast process of my judicial review because i waited two years for h&C

I don't understand does applying for second h&c mean reconsideration ? my lawyer said he gonna ask the officer who made a decision to reconsider his decision but it's not second h&C? someone please help answer my question seems like you guys don't wanna help me:(
