So weird! Still expecting. Am not sure if lawyer has it though. I called the customer service yesterday morning the guy put me hold and came back to tell me everything looks very good and perfect . All criteria bla bla bla have been met. Etc. I should be expecting communication from Niagara fall. Too much bureaucracy & office processes I guess. Is there no admin officer to type letter again? Or senior officer needs to sign letter? I just don’t know. If by 2mr I see nothing, I can start getting worried
you do not need to worry unless you need to travel urgently. Your COPR will come eventually - you made it already. It is just a matter of time. In our case, we were told that all is passed but an officer has not been assigned yet to finalize it (print COPR)... Staff shortage or experimenting with new processing systems, I guess...

This means an officer will look your file on the date indicated, and officer assigned also another officer for review. That is the meaning of all of that. The date indicated is only an estimation it can be look by an officer before the date indicated . That was happened to me before. Hope it helps
starting today until September 30 one of this days an officer will open your file again and to something or update something.
How long have you been together? If you can qualify as common law, you can try sponsorship route, unless he has mis-representation ban like my partner. In which case HC is the last resort.
Congrats! At least you know the estimated date for your file to be opened again! On our end, we have no idea when the officer will finally be assigned to sign off on COPR...

In our case, an assigned officer made sure that the file is complete and then sent us email that he/she forwarded it for final review. Now file is awaiting next officer to sign off on COPR. So I am guessing this is not final review yet, but you are almost there!

You can go for spousal sponsorship, it takes 12 months. That is if your spouse does have any issues with CBSA like misrepresentation or admissibility issues.
