Immigration system is broken for asylum seekers and H&C people
For other programs everything is to easy and simple
it's hard for me as example to go out of Canada to applied for other programs and wait 12 months outside wend we own a house , business,kids in school,parents that need our help,cars etc h&c should be way more easy and fast to get approved or rejected I don't see a reason to be more than 25 or 30 months waiting

I also just got a letter I’m so nervous. I didn’t update my HnC I checked my PR portal and the hnc is showed as submitted no changes . I’m afraid , May God do best

what is tour timeline? Did they just deduct $515 from your account too? I am just confused if they have made a decision as per the letter why do they make us wait to come in person again after 3/4 weeks?

Our H&C decision delievered by CBSA when they asked us to come for the PRRA decision, so it depends on if it is the same officer process both H&C and prra

well, we got a letter, ircc rendered a decision on your application for protection, before we came, the consultant came with us told that it is likely they will deliver both PRRA AND H&C at the same time, and likely negative for both since u do not have ground ......" we felt so scare til we came to cbsa, the officer told us she also had our H&C decision, then she first gave the good news . time line H&C submitted Dec 2023, PRRA submitted 2024.

Wend I applied they registered the file received or submitted and then yes after 11 months was updated saying we start processing and the date, if you apply online probably is different my is a paper application

When I check online, the system says, "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided". Should I still see the submitted message they have not even started to process yet? But I can still get info from automated phone tracker, but Online tracker nothing. why ?

Did you apply online? If you did, you can’t track your application online.

If you applied in August 2024 hasn’t been processed yet. Expect it will take at least a year for the real processing to start.
