H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

People who have applied for h&c before making a refugee claim, and haven't heard about the h&c application: Isn't IRCC supposed to refund the h&c application without looking at it if there's a refugee claim being made -- like the manual says ? I applied for h&c a month or 2 before making an inland refugee claim. I ended up getting an AOR, and also a biometric request for the h&c after making a refugee boc. I believe i have a claim on both the refugee side and also the h&c side. What does IRCC plan to do with my h&c application ?

I am also thinking about submitting my refugee claim soon. After discussion with lawyer, he convinced me of applying for refugee and forget about H and C. I have seen refugee cases processed more quickly than H and C recently. I think it is possible you may hear the outcome of refugee well before IRCC look at your H and C case.

Refugee cases are more likely to be granted because there are more than options available in refugee files

You can withdraw your H&C application they will refund you in case only if they don’t start processing your application

It says application to be returned with refund if the applicant has pending refugee claim.

Of course you are not allowed to have both application at the same time!!
