No, I didn’t apply for GCMS Notes as it took 5 months from AIP to this stage.

Hi, how long does it take to get copr from decision made on ecase or what is the next step? Mine decision made yesterday.

Next step - you will get email that your application is approved.
A few days later - they will send you credentials to create your account on the landing portal where you will upload your pics and confirm that you reside in Canada.
A few days later - you will download your COPR from the portal.
A few months later - you will receive PR card in mail.

There is a 12-month bar from negative refugee decision before you can apply for PRRA. But your officer may be considerate and put you on regular reporting or give administrative deferral until you are eligible for new HC. Just go to interview with all documents, remain calm and cooperative. It's all in CBSA hands now. Good luck

Hello since I have seeing this would anyone help us. My current situation is that I lost status when my restoration of work permit was refused so I no longer have status in canada since September 2021 so we try to apply for a TRP since we are in non-compliance and no longer allowed to apply in canada for extension. I have a PR application under Express Entry on March 2020 and my thoughts are this application is waiting to be refused as well as we overstayed here I am thinking of cancelling it as I haven’t heard anything from this application even if we tried to ask for any help with any MP. So the catch here is can our family go to csba officer voluntarily and tell them that we are out of status and see if they give us a PRRA or admin leave so we can secure a work permit and apply for H&C after. We are a family of 5 I have 2 canadian kids and one 20 year old stepdaughter I wanted to know what your thoughts are here because we wanted to secure a work permit since we are out of status our bill pile up to 50k. And we don’t want to be in welfare as I don’t know if I we are even allowed to. We cant go home as we have been here for 9 years it’s just that our PR application with express entry that we can no longer rely on.

CBsA does not issue TRP or any other permit. CBSA simply executes decisions made by IRCC. Once IRCC rejects an application and issues a removal order, CBSA will be called upon to initiate the procedure and offer PRRA to eligible candidates. You are of course free to go to CBSA but at this stage CBSA does not have a file on you because there is no removal order against you. My suggestion is to wait and do things in the right order: if you get refusal and removal order, you can then apply for PR under HC and work with CBSA to delay your removal. Personally, I would not go to CBSA now and create a problem while there is none yet.
PRRA is offered only to those who already have removal order - this is why it is called pre-removal risk assessment.

I did but the last request I did they won’t process as they say They only issue gcms to those who have valid canadian status. I will try to request again

You have the right to get GCMS notes if you are physically present in canada.
status has no impact

That's not valid reason - my partner was out of status too but we had no problems processing GCMS many times. You have to select in drop down list "individual physically present in Canada".

Guys before asking for Reconsideration you need to have your refusal reason first in order for you to argue the refusal. If you decided and made a argument letter send to the office that issued your refusal or via webform. Send also updated evidences. When I got my refusal decision, I send a request to the office that issued it for refusal reason so I know what to say in my argument letter.

Hi do ircc let you know they received your reconsideration request? How did you know that it send back to same officer ?
