final review means they make sure everything is good they’re not missing anything
Then you send you E-copr
He should check his ecas by weekend change to decision made
Good luck
you probably are being too optimsitic really, dont set high expectation otherwise you will be overstressed. You only focused on very small portion of people whose files processed fast, ignored most of people in this forum waiting over 2 years, it is not an easy journey. Adjusting mindset to prepare for the worst and hope for the best helps with patience and expectation.
"Your processing time starts the day we receive your complete application and ends when we make a decision." HERE is the original words presented on IRCC website. It never implies PR granted.
Aip is not final decision, refusal or CoPr are final decision, after AIP they can refuse your application if you will have problems, yes it's very rare but in can happen if someone has serious criminality problems, misrepresentation, social assistance etc....
Final decision is PR or the refusal
You can't apply by yoour own. Officer will ask to Quebec and they will send you the forms to your house. You should ask your officer if he already ask csq on your behalf, because sometimes they forget.
Quebec will send you many forms that you should fill and then send them to their office in montreal. By the time I have 6 months waiting for the csq, because they told me that still in process.
That is correct. You need to contact IRCC and they will send request to Quebec. After some months, you will receive the application form with which you will apply. Only Health Care Pathway candidates received link for the application.
Best of luck dear @Yinkus.

You are very correct. They are unpredictable and could be irrational. I got my AOR and “In progress” same day. That was January 17. As for me, i won’t bother until after 6 to 7 months. It is add but “PATIENCE” is the only key else, one will just worry unnecessarily.
Pr card and pr approval are not the same thing, pr approval or confirmation of PR status is the final decision of h&c application like any other immigration application but PR card is another application with another timeline.
For more details about h&c stages you can check this link : https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...onate-consideration/processing/in-canada.html

Of course i am aware of this. Pr card just a short phrase for second stage pr approval. i think Ayanna would easily understand my point as well.
16 months from start to second stage settlement doesnt seem realistic to me, i wish i could be as optimistic as you guys. So far from what i observed in this forum, 16 months is not gonna happen to me.
Do you truly believe you will get thing done in 16 months even with Ukraine war happening at the same time?
But still appreciate your clarification.
base on what you told in my personal experience you have strong argument
Even though you leave Canada still they will processing your application if you get approval you can come back
why you are not applying forPRRA
Stop the removal order

Hi - the CBSA will offer PRRA to someone subject to a removal order if the person is eligible. Anyone offered PRRA can submit an application and if it's done within the proper time frame then the removal is halted until there's a decision.
It's worth repeating that people who have a PRRA will receive their H&C decision more rapidly because of the impending removal and IRCC and the CBSA's shared priorities.

Same for me I apply January got AOR in process and nothing else I won’t be checking until 6 months time . I only want if I’m getting refuse it’s sooner than later so I can address the issue ASAP . But I have faith patience that god will do is good work . I don’t read too much into fail stories here because it can be a negative impact on our mind set everyone stories different

I honestly feel if you’re working and have no medical issues once you’re aip There’s nothing wrong with waiting a few more months patience is the key people good things comes to those who wait .
